The Hughes 9450-C10 BGAN Mobile Satellite Terminal is an ideal terminal for emergency service workers, military personnel, emergency response teams and other field workers in need of fast connectivity while in the field.
This device offers broadband speeds of up to 492 Kbps by connecting to Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network. It’s an ideal tool for personnel in industries such as utility, military, oil, telecommunications, emergency response, mobile healthcare and so on.
Remote personnel can collaborate effectively with various agencies with peer-to-peer communication supported by this device. Video, voice and data connection-types can be used simultaneously. The Hughes 9450-C10 includes a built-in wireless Wi-Fi access point which can be enabled.
The Hughes 9450-C10 terminal is IP based and also offers selectable, dedicated Quality of Service (QoS) levels, supports 64 Kbps ISDN data, 2.1 KHz audio for secure calls and 4k ISDN voice for standard voice calls.
Installation is quick and simple for any vehicle. The antenna may be permanently mounted on the roof of a vehicle for fleetstyle installation, or the optional magnetic roof mount can be used for fast installation and removal. The antenna includes a single, 8-meter RF cable connection.
The Hughes 9450-C10 terminal has four Ethernet ports with PoE (Power over Ethernet) which allows the user to connect multiple devices simultaneously. This device supports analog and ISDN circuit-switched voice calls, and along with that fax and 64 Kbps ISDN data communication methods.
