The Hughes BGAN 9211-HDR Land Portable Satellite Terminal is a High Data Rate terminal ideal for media personnel, governments, NGOs, mobile healthcare providers and other companies demanding high-speed connection on the go. The 9211-HDR provides a stable, high-speed connection at affordable costs.

The design of the 9211-HDR deems it the world’s smallest, lightest HDR-capable BGAN. Users connected to it can enjoy streaming at speeds of over 650 Kbps. It also features built in multi-user Wi-Fi access.

It sports an external powered antenna capable of supporting long RF cable runs for either temporary or permanent fixed-site installations. This device enables users to send and receive IP traffic either via Ethernet or 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It also enables voice or fax connectivity features via a standard telephone connection. All the connections available to establish are IP-based and offer Class 1 background IP or selectable dedicated Quality of Service (QoS) levels.

Inmarsat BGAN HDR service network offers ever-increasing streaming rates. The Hughes 9211-HDR supports the fastest streaming rates available for transmitting video and other data from remote fields. (above 650 Kbps)
Asymmetric streaming rates are also supported, which enable users to tailor the service to their individual preferences in a cost-effective way.
